Rokytnice nad Jizerou (602 m)

Rokytnice nad Jizerou is a mountain resort located in the highest mountain range of the Czech Republic, Krkonoše (Giant Mountains). You can find there public amenities as tourist office, bus station, post office, police station, ambulance and many restaurants.

Huťský vodopád (786 m)

The water at the Huťský Waterfall drops 20 m down. The waterfall is supplied by the Huťský Potok whose source is under the Dvoračky tourist chalet.

Chata Dvoračky (1140 m)

Mountain chalet Dvoračky and Štumpovka hotel are located in the altitude of 1,140 meters above the sea level. Štumpovka offers to visitors accommodation in stylish 2-bed rooms and family apartments and excellent home cuisine in cosy restaurant as well as a big outdoor terrace.

Harrachovy kameny (1412 m)

The distinctive isolated rocks rise above the steep slope of Velká Kotelní Jáma and offers nearly a circular view of the Krkonoše, Jizerské Hory, Trosky, and many other well known points

Mohyla Hanče a Vrbaty (1415 m)

The monument was built in memory of the tragic event in a skiing contest on 24 March 1913 when one of the best Czech skiers, Bohumil Hanč, tried to finish the contest, which everyone else had given up, but subsequently lost his battle with the cruel mountain weather.

Pančavský vodopád (1302 m)

The Pančavský Waterfall is the highest waterfall in the Czech Republic (148 m). Near the waterfall, there is the Ambrožova Vyhlídka, a lookout point that offers fabulous views of the Labský Důl, Kozí Hřbety, Kotel and Lysá Hora.

Labská bouda (1317 m)

Hotel Labská bouda is a favourite halt of tourists going to the spring of the river Elbe. It is situated in the first zone of the National park Krkonoše in the altitude of 1317 m on the Elbe meadow not far from Špindlerův Mlýn.

Martinova Bouda (1288 m)

Martinovka chalet is situated on the border Giant Mountains range in the altitude of 1288 m. It offers 12 rooms with the total capacity of 42 beds, from double rooms up to rooms with five beds. All our "mountain" but comfortable rooms have their own batroom and WC. Our restaurant is fully covered with the high/speed WiFi. The guests can enjoy our sauna or spend some time playing darts, billiards, or watching a movie on the big screen.

Martinova bouda (1288 m)

Mužské kameny (1417 m)

Mužské kameny (Men's Stones), are situated on the Polish border on the red-marked Czech-Polish Friendship tourist path above Medvědí důl valley. These granite formations were formed during the Mesozoic and Tertiary eras, when erosion disturbed and removed the less resistant surrounding rocks.

Dívčí kameny (1414 m)

The Dívčí Kameny - Girls` Rocks are outcrops of granite weathered in blocks; they form distinctive crest-shaped rocks. They were allegedly named after a young shepherdess who had died not far from this place.

Špindlerova bouda (1200 m)

The hotel Špindlerova bouda is located directly at Czech-Polish border. In the complex there is a hotel restaurant, buffet restaurant and newly built restaurant for guests who do not stay in the hotel.

Słonecznik (1401 m)

The Slonecznik (in Polish), Polední Kámen (in Czech), Midday Stone (in English) is one of the best-known rocks in the Krkonoše. The place name is derived from the fact that on the Polish side of the Krkonoše, at midday, the Sun is seen just above the mountain.

Wielky Staw (1370 m)

Wielki Staw (1,225 metres, Polish for The Big Pond) is a post glacial natural lake. It is situated in the Karkonosze National Park at the bottom of the cirque, on the southern slope of the Smogornia mountain. With its area of 8.3 hectares, it is the biggest glacial lake in the whole range.

Mały Staw (1352 m)

Mały Staw (1,183 m, Polish for The Small Pond) is a natural lake of glacial origin in the Polish Karkonosze National Park. With its area of 2.8 hectares, it is the second biggest glacial lake in the whole range. Its depth reaches 7 m.

Luční bouda (1412 m)

The Hotel Meadow Chalet is one of the highest mountain huts in Central Europe. You will find there a stylish restaurant and a newly opened Snack bar also a Brewery with historical paintings and more than fifty rooms in four categories, from tourist beds to Standard PLUS rooms in the renovated part of the building.

Luční bouda (1412 m)

The Hotel Meadow Chalet is one of the highest mountain huts in Central Europe. You will find there a stylish restaurant and a newly opened Snack bar also a Brewery with historical paintings and more than fifty rooms in four categories, from tourist beds to Standard PLUS rooms in the renovated part of the building.

Dom Śląski (1393 m)

The mountain chalet with restaurant directly at the foot of the Sněžka mountain. In the summer large terrace with bar and grill is opened.

Sněžka (1602 m)

Sněžka or Śnieżka (in Czech and Polish) is the highest point in the Czech Republic, in the Krkonoše and in the entire Sudetes range system. On the Polish side a disc-shaped observatory and restaurant was built in 1974, a weather station and the St. Lawrence chapel. On the Czech side are the remains of the Bohemian hut, a post office, and a chairlift station, connecting the peak with the town of Pec pod Sněžkou at the base of the mountain.

Svorová hora (1407 m)

Svorová hora (Polish Czarna Kopa, 1407 m a.s.l.) is a mountain peak situated within the Karkonosze National Park on the Polish–Czech Friendship Trail. The peak area, which is entirely on the Czech side, is exposed and windy.

Chata Jelenka (1257 m)

Relatively small hut with restaurant, which offers hot as well as cold meals. There are also 5 rooms with capacity 26 guests.

Horní Malá Úpa (1038 m)

Part of the municipality Malá Úpa. Village is conected by bus with Svoboda nad Úpou, Trutnov and other towns. Popular starting and ending point for trips to Krkonoše mountains.
